William Lange, 78, of Waucoma, died of a lingering illness at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 5:40 p.m.
Mr. Lange was born at Waucoma, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lange. He attended the rural schools and farmed.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Carrie Blong of Waucoma and a brother, Herman Lange of Alpha.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, August, Fred and Henry.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Stapleton with Rev. Irwin Schemmel officiating.
Interment was in the Stapleton cemetery with Oliver Winter, Russell tank, Loyal Labbs, Dean Tessmer, Emil Stange and Walter Albrecht as pall bearers.
